What is the difference between Class.getResource() and ClassLoader.getResource()?

I wonder what the difference is between Class.getResource() and ClassLoader.getResource()? edit: I especially want to know if any caching is involved on file/directory ...

Get a resource using getResource()

leading slash to denote the root of the classpath slashes instead of dots in the path you can call getResource() directly on the class.
